Italy: Monza down Cisterna in advance of Round 19

In advance of 2022/23 Superlega CredemBanca Round 19 or, if you prefer, Round 8 of second leg, Vero Volley Monza won in four sets on the field of Top Volley Cisterna, after losing first set – 1-3 (25:20, 23:25, 23:25, 22:25).
It was a direct clash for playoffs, and with these three very important points, Monza have now 27 points in the standings. The same, at this moment, of Verona and Piacenza, who tomorrow will face Padova and Milano, respectively, while Cisterna remain to the ninth place with 23 points.
Canadian Duo Maar-Szwarc (who replaced Grozer during the game) were decisive for the winners, scoring 20 points each, while Sedlacek ended the game as top scorer with 25 points for the losing side.
