Italy – Playoffs 5th Place – Padova destroy Cisterna in first game of Preliminary Round

On the eve of 2022/23 Superlega CredemBanca Playoffs quarterfinals, that will start on Saturday, Preliminary Round of Playoffs 5th place, a competition to assign a ticket for next edition of CEV Challenge Cup, started today with first match played in Cisterna.

It was a good performance of the visiting side Pallavolo Padova who down the hosts of Top Volley Cisterna with a clear 0-3 (21:25, 22:25, 18:25).
The guys around Coach Cuttini, who lose his bomber Dusan Petkovic before the competition, played a great match in attack, ending with 60% of team performance, and Padova can count above all on a good Gardini (MVP of the match with 17 points, 5 aces and 57% in attack) and Guzzo (13 points including 1 block and 63% in attack).
