Croatia: HAOK Mladost celebrate 22nd title in a thrilling final against OK Mursa Osijek

HAOK Mladost Zagreb claimed their 22nd title in club’s history after a thrilling final series against OK Mursa Osijek.
Although the rivals initially leading the series 2-0, Mladost managed to turn the tide in their favor with a clear 3-0 victory (25:18, 25:12, 25:22) in the decisive Game 5 of final.
Throughout the match, Mladost played absolutely better, taking the lead since the very beginning of the match and maintaining it until the end.
Only in the first set, the winners had 15 points in attack and 4 blocks, compared to Osijekâs only 10 points and 2 blocks.
Mladost continued their dominance in the second set, winning 25-12, while the third set was more competitive, but they continued to force in all element, closing set and game with a 25-22.
Led by Austrian opposite Clemens Ecker with 13 points and outside hitter Ivan ZeljkoviÄ with 14 points, Mladost successfully defended their title and claimed the 22nd title as Croatian champions.
