Poland: Series for 3rd Place to Game 5! Aluron defeated Resovia at tie break!

While the Series for 2022/23 Plusliga title ended in just three Games, the exciting clash between regular season winners Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and No.2 Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie is not over!
Today the latter, after losing the first two sets, complete the comeback and were able to win the game at tie break, a series that will be decided on Tuesday, in Game 5 on the field of Resovia.
Partially it was 19:25, 19:25, 25:17, 25:23 and 15:9.
Although it wasn’t the best performance of one of the key players of this season Uroš Kovacevic (16 points but with only 39% and 9% efficiency in attack with 5 errors and 5 blocked), two players made the difference today: Bartosz Kwolek, with 21 points through 47% in attack, 1 block but, above all, decisive from the service line with 5 of his team’s 7 aces, and Dawid Konarski, who scored the same number of points with 58% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace.
For Resovia, it was enough a very good performance in blocking (13 points from this element to 9), while once again Torey Defalco was the most efficient player with 18 points to his name, 2 blocks and 48% in attack.
