USA and Canada will play for Gold at NORCECA Pan American Cup Men’s Final Six

The NORCECA Pan American Cup Final Six concluded round-robin stage in Edmonton.
USA secured a place in the gold-medal match sweeping Cuba with a clear 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:13), led by Jalen Penrose who ended the game as top scorer with 11 points.
They will face host Canada, who progress to the final despite a 3-2 (25:20, 28:26, 20:25, 23:25, 15:9) loss to Mexico.
Christopher Byam led the winners with 20 points to his name, while Luis Hernández Baca was the most prolific player for Mexico with 19 points.
Now Mexico will play for the bronze medal against Cuba, and Puerto Rico will vie for 5th place against the Dominican Republic.
In the last match of the round-robin stage Puerto Rico defeated Dominican Republic a 3-2 with 28 points from Klistan Lawrence.
