Poland: Round 2 continues! 3 points for Gdańsk and Warszawa

After three exciting advances played yesterday, Round 2 of 2023/24 Plusliga continued today with other two games.
To open the day the thrilling clash between Enea Czarni Radom and Trefl Gdańsk, ended with the four sets win of the visiting side, 1-3 (37:39, 22:25, 25:22, 20:25), led by MVP Mikołaj Sawicki, author of 18 points through 65% in attack, 3 of his team’s 16 winning blocks and 2 aces.
Top scorer among the winners was Aliaksei Nasevich with 19 points to his name (54% in attack, 2 blocks and 3 aces), while Brodie Hofer scored 20 points for Radom.
In the evening Projekt Warszawa down GKS Katowice 3-0 (25:18, 25:22, 26:24) and reach temporarily the top of the standings together with Jastrzębski Węgiel, who yesterday down Indykpol AZS Olsztyn by 3-1, and the same Trefl Gdańsk. Bartłomiej Bołądź was named MVP of the game with 17 points to his name through 54% in attack including 1 block and two aces, the same number of points of his teammate Artur Szalpuk while, on the losing side, only Damian Domagała reached a double digit scoring 16
points with 67% in attack, 1 ace and 1 block, but he wasn’t enough.
