Challenge Cup: other 6 teams qualified to the next stage!

After Azerbaijan’s Khari Byul Byul Shusha, Slovenia’s Panvita Pomgrad Murska Sobota, who eliminated Cypro’s Omonia Nicosia (CYP) at Golden Set, Rieker UJS Komárno from Slovakia and Hungary’s Pénzügyőr SE Budapest, who earned the ticket to the main round of 2023/24 CEV Challenge cup without playing against Israel’s Apoel Yoav Kfar Saba (both games cancelled due to the ISR goverment statement related to the current situation), today other 7 teams celebrated their progression.
The first one is Hungary’s MÁV Foxconn Székesfehérvár, who easily won on the field of Austria’s
VCA Amstetten NÖ, 0-3 (19:25, 20:25, 18:25), the same result of first leg.
Main Round also for Romania’s Steaua Bucuresti, who down VC Lorentzweiler from Luxembourg with the same result, 3-0 (25:14, 25:15, 25:20), and for Finland’s Akaa Volley, who eliminated Merkur Maribor after a 3-1 (25:17, 25:18, 20:25, 25:19) home win, the same result obtained in first leg in Slovenia.
Not the same fate for Maribor’s compratriots Calcit Kamnik, who sweep Norway’s Viking TIF Bergen 3-0 (25:15, 25:18, 25:16) after just 63 minutes of play! Second leg between these two will be played tomorrow,
also in Slovenia at Sportna Dvorana Kamnik.
Bulgaria’s Deya Volley Burgas, on the other hand, eliminated a third team from Slovenia, Triglav Kranj, with a 3-1 (25:22, 25:15, 20:25, 25:20) home win, the same result of the first leg. To make the difference as many as 15 winning blocks, against 4 of the losing side.
After a double straight sets win against Norway’s Førde VBK, Serbia’s Spartak Subotica is another team qualified to the main round, 0-3 (19:25, 20:25, 22:25), and the same did The Netherlands’ Numidia VC Limax Linne, who destroyed Fjølnir Klaksvìk from Faroe Islands 3-0 (25:17, 25:20, 25:19).
