Austria: Waldviertel close Round 8 with a win over Graz and 3rd place

Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel won the Big Match of Powerfusion Volley League Round 8 on the field of UVC Holding Graz in four sets (18:25, 25:21, 28:26, 25:20) in more than two hours on Sunday evening.
A victory that is worth the third place in the standings at +2 from the same Graz and with the same number of points of defending champions HYPO TIROL volleyball team. However, the unbeaten team from Innsbruck have only played six games. At the top is TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg, who has the maximum number of points after seven wins.
The top scorers in the Raiffeisen Sportpark today were Arwin Kopschar and Benedikt Sablatnig with 13 each and Johannes Kratz with 12 for Graz and, for the 2022 Austrian champions, Krzysztof Gulak top scorer of the match with 24 points, Niklas Stooß with 11 and Koendert Daan Streutker with 10.
