Italy: Round 7 is over! Victories for all the favorites. Monza stun Piacenza at tie break! All results

After the advance played yesterday, in which Valsa Group Modena won on the field of Cisterna Volley, the Superlega CredemBanca 7th Round has been completed today.
Milano and Trento secure convincing straight sets wins on their home soil, while Perugia emerges victorious in Verona. Civitanova manages to overcome Taranto only after a thrilling game ended at tie break, and Monza achieves the same success against Piacenza.
In details, Itas Trentino continued their unbeaten streak by dominating newcomers Farmitalia Catania with a clear 3-0 win. The game concluded in just over an hour, marking Trentino’s first 3-0 (25:15, 25:17, 25:18) home win of the season.
The visiting side fought only untip 11-11 of first set, and then suffered the play of the rivals, who played a great game above all in attack with 55% of team performance with just 3 errors, all in first set. Crucial the performance of Adis Lagumdzija, MVP and top scorer with 25 points to his name (58% in attack, 3 aces and 1 block), and Nikolov (19 with 54%), but double digit also for Chinenyeze (10), also author of the winning block that closed the game. Four players in double digit also on the other side of the net: Gutierrez (22), Russell (21), Gargiulo (16) and Lanza (11).
Allianz Milano also claimed a 3-0 (25:17, 26:24, 25:19) victory over Pallavolo Padova, unable to close the second set, the most balanced one, after two balls out from top scorer Gabi Garcia. Milano was better in blocking (10-7) and in attack with 53% to 42%. MVP of the match Agustin Loser, while MVP of fans Osniel Mergarejo, who in just two sets put down 10 points with 56% in attack.
Mint Vero Volley Monza triumphed in a marathon tie-break (22:25, 25:21, 19:25, 25:20, 15:12) against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, with Canadian Eric Loeppky scoring 21 points to earn the MVP title.
Among the top scorers of the game also Stephen Maar and Ran Takahashi, who added 18 and 17 points, respectively.
