Austria: Amstetten close Round 12 with a very important win against Weiz

VCA Amstetten NÖ won their last game of 2023, defeated last-placed VBC TLC Weiz at tie break 3-2 (24:26, 25:21, 23:25, 25:15, 15:6) in the last game of Powerfusion Austrian Volley League Round 12 on Sunday.
A result that is worth the eighth place in the standings with the same number of points, 6, of VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt.
An exciting fight for the last quarter-final ticket can be expected in the new year!
Tomorrow, defending champions HYPO TIROL volleyball team (2nd) will face UVC Holding Graz (4th) in a delayed game of Round 5.
However, the last regular season clash in 2023 is not the end of the volleyball year, as the Austrian Cup semi-finals are scheduled on December 20th and 21st: Aich/Dob welcomes Waldviertel for the second time in four days, while Hartberg and HYPO TIROL will fight for the other ticket to the final!
