Italy: Matthieu Garcia form Sète to Trento as medical joker

French Setter Matthieu Garcia leaves Ligue A club Arago De Sète.
His destination? Italy!
With the agreement of French club, allowing him to seize a magnificent sporting opportunity, the 23-year-old player was hired with immediate effect by the prestigious Italian club Trentino Volley as a medical joker.
After 16 seasons in Sète, from volleyball school until his first professional contract, he will make his dream come true and will compete in the all-Italian Champions League semi-final in the upcoming days against Cucine Lube Civitanova, and playoffs quarterfinals series against Valsa Group Modena.
“It is a real pride for the club and our territory to see the child of the club evolve at the highest European level,” wrote Sète about his player.
In Trento he will fight for a place in starting six instead starting setter Riccardo Sbertoli, who suffered an injury in last Champions League game against Berlin Recycling Volleys, temporarily replaced by young Alessandro Acquarone.

Matthieu Garcia, who will wear the number 19 jersey, is the third French player to join Trentino Volleyball, following in the footsteps of Renaud Herpe and Jenie Grebennikov.
