Austria: 3rd Place for Aich/Dob! Waldviertel defeated in decisive Game 3

Austrian Volley Cup winners SK Zadruga Aich/Dob secured the bronze medal in the last game of 2023/24 Powerfusion volleyball season by winning the decisive Game 3 with Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel in Zwettl 3-0 (25:23, 26:24, 25:19).
The first two meetings of the “Best-of-3” series had gone into a tie-break – with each the happier ending for the home team.
Top scorers of the day were Kristof Horvath (13) and Angelos Mandilaris (12) for the winners, and for Waldviertel young Paul Nusterer (13) and Niklas Stooß (7).
The visiting side was also better in attack (44 to 30 points and 56% to 44%) and from the service line (10 aces to 4).
