Italy: Angelo Lorenzetti stays in Perugia until 2027

Head coach Angelo Lorenzetti has officially renewed his contract with Sir Susa Vim Perugia, committing to the club until 2027.
Since arriving in the 2023-2024 season, he has made an incredible impact. In fact, under his leadership, the team has secured two Italian Super Cups, a Coppa Italia, a Club World Championship, and even a scudetto.
Also this season, his squad has been unstoppable, remaining unbeaten in both the domestic league and Champions League.

Speaking about the renewal, he expressed his emotions with four powerful words: happy, grateful, proud, and committed.

“I’m happy because I get to keep working in a place I love so much that I rush to get there every morning and hate leaving in the evening,” he said.
“I’m grateful for the trust and recognition the club has shown me, proud to be part of a community that’s so respected and beloved in Umbria, and committed to earning this faith every single day.”
