Poland: Częstochowa close Round 27 with a win over Olsztyn

Round 27 of 2024/25 Plusliga or, if you prefer, Round 12 of second leg, has been closed today with the clash between Indykpol AZS Olsztyn and Steam Hemarpol Norwid Częstochowa, ended with the score of 1-3 (27:29, 17:25, 25:14, 24:26) in favor of the visiting side, who strengthen their chances for a playoff spot.
This win, in fact, moves Częstochowa into 8th place with 40 points in the standings while Olsztyn’s chances have dwindled. MVP Patrik Indra led the charge with 24 points to his name through 56% in attack including 2 winning blocks, Milad Ebadipour added 17, while Jan Hadrava scored 22 for the hosts.
Plusliga will continue tomorrow with the advance of Round 29 between Ślepsk Malow Suwałki and already relegated GKS Katowice.
