France: Poitiers destroy Chaumont and fly to final! Montpellier and Tours to decisive Game 3!

2024/25 Marmara Spike League semifinals continued today, and the first team who reach the Gran Finale of competition is Poitiers!
After a great four sets success on the field of No.2 in regular season Chaumont, they repeated themselves in front of their home fans, celebrating a clean 3-0 (25:19, 25:19, 25:21) sweep.
Better in all elements, above all in attack (62% of team performance compared to the rivals’ 48%) and blocking (8 to 3), Nik Mujanovic once again led the charge with as many as 21 points to his name in three sets, 59% in attack, 3 blocks, 1 ace and MVP honors, but double digit also for Thomas Pujol who added 11 through 64% in attack and 2 blocks, like Pierre Toledo, the most prolific player for Chaumont.
In final, they’ll face the winners between No.5 Tours and regular season winners Montpellier, who postpone the verdict on Monday, for decisive Game in Montpellier.
After winning Game 1 in just three sets on the road, Tours fell in front of their home fans after a thrilling clash that has been solved only at tie break, 2-3 (22:25, 28:26, 13:25, 25:22, 13:15).
Ryan Sclater left the court as top scorer, tallying 27 points for Tours (1 ace, 4 blocks and 49% in attack), but he wasn’t enough, while Dimitar Dimitrov was the most prolific player for the winners with 22 points to his name including 2 aces, 1 block and 63% in attack. Double digit also for Esequiel Palacios, who added 20, Tomas Lopez Pascual and MVP Nicolas Le Goff, who also contributed with 13 each.
