Türkiye: Ziraat and Galatasaray open semifinals with straight sets victories. Halkbank ko!

The 205/26 SMS Grup Efeler Ligi PlayOffs opened with convincing wins for Ziraat Bankkart and Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, as both teams moved ahead 1-0 in their best-of-three semifinal series.
Regular season absolute winners Ziraat Bankkart produced a dominant performance to sweep Spor Toto in straight sets, 3-0 (25:15, 25:14, 25:21), rarely allowing their opponents to be part of the match.
Galatasaray HDI Sigorta followed with a hard-fought 0-3 (24:26, 22:25, 27:29) win on the field of No.2 Halkbank. Despite the scoreline, the contest was tightly balanced, with Stephen Maar who led the charge with 21 points, while Jean Patry added 15.
Both series will continue on Wednesday, April 15.
