Poland: Resovia re-open series for 3rd place with a comeback on the field of Warszawa

After a tie break win in Game 1, and a four sets away win in Game 2, PGE Projekt Warszawa suffered Asseco Resovia Rzeszow and, after a 2-0 home lead, collapsed to lose the game at tie break, 2-3 (25:21, 25:22, 22:25, 18:25, 12:15), in 2025/26 Plusliga series for 3rd Place.
Jakub Bucki with 17 points, 1 ace, 70% in attack and MVP honors was one of protagonists of the day, well supported by Klemen Čebulj, who also contributed with 19. Bartosz Gomułka top-scored the hosts with 18 points.
Game 3 in on the field of Resovia on Wednesday, May 6, with the team from country’s capital ahed 2-1 in best-of-five series.
