Poland: Gonzalo Quiroga will play his sixth season at GKS Katowice.
The 33-year-old Argentine outside hitter has already played 147 matches in the club’s colours, arriving in Katowice in 2017. After two seasons with the club, he played for BKS Visła Bydgoszcz and the French club Cambrai Volley. In 2021 he returned to Katowice for another two seasons, after which he moved back to France, where he represented Tourcoing Lille Métropole and Tours Volley-Ball.
Ahead of the 2025/2026 season, he joined GKS Katowice for the third time and contributed to the team’s promotion to PlusLiga. After a season that ended with a return to the top tier of Polish volleyball, Gonzalo remains part of the squad and will once again be seen on PlusLiga courts in the upcoming season.

In Italy, Cuneo has officially signed middle blocker Nicolò Volpe. Born in 2003, he arrives from Serie A2 side Catania.

Meanwhile, as already widely anticipated in our official world transfers 2026/27 list, Ferre Reggers is a new player for Perugia.

Following setter Nicola Zonta (signed from Porto Viro) and outside hitter Federico Roberti (from Fano), middle blocker Elia Bossi will also become a new player for Itas Trentino.

“Playing for Trentino Volley after facing them as an opponent for so many years is definitely a huge thrill,” Elia Bossi said in his first interview as a Trento player.
“I didn’t hesitate for a moment to say yes when this opportunity came up, because the reputation this club has built over time is something truly special. I am very happy to wear the yellow-and-blue jersey; I will try to help the team in the best possible way, both in training and in matches. I immediately felt the trust that the coaching staff, and especially head coach Marcelo Mendez, has in me. I will try to repay that trust by working hard every day, fully understanding my role as well as the league we will be competing in.”

“The decision to sign Bossi goes against the trend of this club’s recent past, as we usually chose a very young player for that role. But for us, Elia represented such an attractive opportunity that we decided to seize it immediately,” explained Itas Trentino head coach Marcelo Mendez.
“He will bring experience at the highest level, gained over many seasons in the SuperLega. He will be able to help us in every way because he is a player who knows the league and the dynamics of this sport inside out. We need players like him to prepare as best as possible for every match awaiting us next season.”

Newcomers Prata di Pordenone have confirmed their middle blocker and captain Nicolò Katalan, after six years of defending the club’s colours.
