Italy: Trentino win in Civitanova to take the lead in playoff semifinal series against Lube!

An unstoppable Itas Trentino defeated Cucine Lube Civitaniva in Game 1 of the 2021/22 Italian Superlega CredemBanca semi-finals.
The 3rd-seed Trentino offered yet another amazing performance of this period of the season, dominating No.2 Lube on the road with a heavy 0-3 (26:28, 20:25, 23:25).

The hosts had to play without their captain Osmany Juantorena again, but Trentino’s performance, especially in the 2nd set when they came back from 18-13, led by captain Matey Kaziyski, absolutely deserved this victory.
About Kaziyski, he was also named MVP of the match, top scorer with 16 points, 58% in attack, and two winning blocks. But very good also Podrascanin, decisive from the service line and 8/9 in attack. Among the hosts, Zaytsev, Simon and Yant in double digit with 15, 13 and 12 points, respectively. However, Zaytsev made also 4 errors and 4 blocked.
