Italy: Perugia down Piacenza in big match of Round 7 to celebrate their 7th win in 7 matches

Sir Safety Susa Perugia down Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and celebrated the seventh victory in as many matches in the 2022/23 Italian Superlega CredemBanca.

The seventh 3-point seal has arrived on the difficult court in Piacenza, who still can’t find the rhythm even though their roster is made above all of big names of world of volleyball.
Andrea Anastasi’s guys won Round 7’s match with a score of 3-1 (25:21, 25:22, 22:25, 25:22) proving once again their great qualities.
They have always had the reins of the match except for the central and final part of the third set, in which the hosts tried to reopen a match that their rivals had under control so far.

Italian-Luxembourger Kamil Rychlicki was the top scorer on the winning side with 19 points, while Cuban-Brazilian Yoandy Leal scores the same number of points, but for Piacenza, and Cuban Robertlandy Simón made 6 blocks.
As a result, Perugia is the sole leader in the current standings, with as many as 8 points more than the closest pursuer, Itas Trentino, with one match less played.
Piacenza, on the other hand, have a quite disappointing record of 3-4.
