Austria: three points for Sokol and Graz in last games of Round 7

After eight defeats in a row counting all competitions, UVC Holding Graz managed to back to the win, and they did it by beating the last-placed VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt, with a clear 3-0 (25:18, 25:22, 25:17). Top scorers in the Raiffeisen Sportpark were Anes Perezic (21) and Michael Ladner (15) on the winning side, and Steven Duzevich (11) and David Petschnig (8) for Klagenfurt. Graz now had six points, while the Wörther-See-Löwen have not yet been able to win a single game, and not even to score a single point.

In the last game of the Round 7, TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien was able to create an upset and earned a deserved 3-1 (25:22, 25:23, 12:25, 25:19) win on the field of VCA Amstetten NÖ, who had the chance to level the score with the second in the table SK Zadruga Aich/Dob.
After the second win of the season, Sokol has the same points as Graz and is in ninth place. Top scorer of the match were Michael Czerwinski (22) and Logan House (17) for the home side, and Jan Stefko (20), Tobias Ofner and Dominik Duchac (9 each) on the winning side.
