Austria: Hartberg sweep Graz to remain to the top at the end of Round 6!

TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg confidently defended the first place in the Powerfusion Volley League regular season on Sunday evening.
Head coach Markus Hirczy’s team won the Styria derby in the Raiffeisen Sportpark against the hosts UVC Holding Graz with a clear 3-0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:13).
Tthis was the first defeat for the third-placed Graz!
After Round 6, Hartberg remain to the top ahead defending champions HYPO TIROL volleyball team by four points who, however, played only 5 games.
Today’s game was balanced until the 19:19 in the first set, but then Hartberg start to play strong and closed the game after just 79 minutes of play. Hartberg’s top scorers were Đorđe Knezevic with 14 points, and Lukas Glatz and Dmytro Fedorenko with 13 each, while Sebastian Sablatnig (10), Lorenz Rössl (7) and Johannes Kratz (5) were the most prolific players among the hosts.
