Italy: Padova close Round 16 with a great win over Modena!

Round 16 of 2023/24 Superlega CredemBanca, Round 5 of second leg, is over today with another upset.
At Kioene Arena, the hosts Pallavolo Padova, managed to celebrate a very important win over Valsa Group Modena, 3-1 (25:22, 25:23, 22:25, 25:23).
Davide Gardini, top scorer and MVP of the game with 24 points through 59% in attack 1 block and 1 ace, was the man of the match, well supported by Luca Porro who added 16 points with 1 block and 65% in attack, and Fabian Plak with 9 through 86% in attack.
Osmany Juantorena with 21 points and 58% in attack was the best prolific player for Modena, but he wasn’t enough.
Now a free weekend for both sides, while at Bologna’s Unipol Arena will play the Final Four of Del Monte® Coppa Italia.
Padova will play on Saturday, February 3 on the field of Rana Verona, an an away game also for Modena on Sunday, February 4, against Cucine Lube Civitanova.
