Italy: a Monza still alive push Trento to game 4! Perugia down Milano to take the lead in semifinal series

2023/24 Superlega CredemBanca Semifinals best-of-five series continued on Sunday with the win of Mint Vero Volley Monza and Sir Susa Vim Perugia.
The first one won on the field of defending champions Itas Trentino at their ilT quotidiano Arena sold-out, in front of more than 4000 fans.
The game has been closed at tie break, with the winners able to perform a comeback from 1-0, to then close the game with the score of 2-3 (26:24, 22:25, 25:27, 27:25, 13:15) to celebrate their first victory ever to Trento.

front of 4821 volleyball fans at PalaBarton, the hosts Sir Susa Vim Perugia suffered in first set an excellent Allianz Milano but, eventually, were able to close the game 3-1 (20:25, 25:18, 25:13, 25:21) to take again the lead in the series.
After second and third set easily won, the fourth one was belanced until 15-15 until a decisive turn from Russo from the service line and the final attack from Wassim Ben Tara that is worth decisive 25-21.
The winners were better in attack, 54% to 43%, but above all in blocking, scoring 14 points to 6.
