Italy: Perugia triumph in Game 4 of final to claim second Scudetto in Club history!

In an exciting Game 4 of 2023/24 SuperLega Credem Banca PlayOff Finals, Sir Susa Vim Perugia clinched their second Scudetto by defeating Mint Vero Volley Monza with the score of 1-3 (25:19, 23:25, 25:27, 20:25).
The game has been closed with a point from Kamil Semeniuk, and then Perugia started celebrations after an amazing season that came into an end with as many as four trophies in their pockets after Supercup, Club World Championship and Coppa Italia.
The game wasn’t easy, just like the whole series against an excellent Mint Vero Volley Monza.
After suffering the hosts’ play in first sets, with lot of errors, Perugia’s comeback started in tje second one, while the third set was played on a very high level, with they wasted a 13-17 lead and then they suffered Monza’s impossible comeback, until the apotheosis in fourth one.
Setter Simone Giannelli is MVP of final series, while Wilfredo Leon, starting from the bench, was decisive in decisive game, scoring as many as 25 points in his last game played for Italian powerhouse.
