Itay: Theo Faure misses Final for 5th place

Bad news for Itas Trentino on the eve of the playoff final for fifth place: a stop for Théo Faure for at least ten days due to a lower back injury sustained during Saturday’s match in Monza.
The news have been announced by the club, specifying that the French opposite will be unable to participate in the entire series against Valsa Group Modena, which will determine a spot in next season’s CEV Challenge Cup.
He will undergo further tests in the coming weeks to more accurately define his recovery time.
The opposite’s absence represents another blow for the team around head coach Fabio Soli, which will be played in the decisive phase of the playoffs for fifth place without another key players after the long absence of Daniele Lavia, recently back to the court, and Alessandro Michieletto.
