Bad news for Plusliga Club PGE Projekt Warszawa, who loses Bartosz Bednorz in Game 1 for 3rd Place on Monday against Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.
Due to the injury, the outside hitter is forced to a stop for a minimum of six weeks, which means an early end to the 2025/2026 season.
However, in view of the most important games of the season, including Final Four of 2025/26 CEV Champions League in Turin, Italy, the club hired Poland’s national team captain Aleksander Śliwka as joker medical, who recently closed this season at 3rd place in Turkish Efelerligi with the jersey of Halkbank Ankara.
The team from country’s capital are now playing on the field of Resovia Game 2 for 3rd place.
