Poland: Round 3 continues on Saturday – Aluron down Resovia at tie break. 3 points for Jastrzębski and Cuprum Stilon Gorzów

2024/25 Plusliga continued today with other three games.
Volleyball Saturday started with an amazing win of Supercup winners and last season runners-up Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie on the field of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, after a thrilling game that has been solved only at tie break, with the score of 2-3 (25:21, 19:25, 23:25, 25:23, 12:15) and after 158 minutes of intense play.
In front of 3000 volleyball fans at Hala Podpromie in Rzeszów, the visiting side were led by setter MVP Miguel Tavares Rodrigues, as well as top scorers Aaron Russell and Kyle
Ensing, who led the charge with 26 and 19 points, respectively.
Bartosz Bednorz was the most prolific player for the hosts with 23 points.
The day continue with the four sets win of titleholders Jastrzębski Węgiel on the field of GKS Katowice – 1-3 (25:22, 17:25, 17:25, 18:25), and, in the evening, the home success of Cuprum Stilon Gorzów over Ślepsk Malow Suwałki with the same result, 3-1 (25:20, 25:19, 21:25, 28:26).
Lukasz Kaczmarek played a stunning game scoring 16 points for Jastrzębski through 73% in attack, well supported by an once again decisive (as well as almost perfect) Anton Brehme who added 10 including 1 ace and 90% in attack (9/10).
Cuprum Stilon Gorzów, on the last game of the day, celebrated their second success in three games led by top scorer and MVP Chizoba Neves Atu, who left the court with 22 points to his name including 2 aces and 51% in attack.
Round 3 will continue on Sunday with other two games: Steam Hemarpol Norwid Częstochowa will welcome newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin while, in the evening, Barkom Każany Lwów will face BOGDANKA LUK Lublin.
