Austria: match points for Hypo Tirol! Straight sets win in Bleiburg and best-of-seven series at 1-3!

ÖVV cup and regular season winners HYPO TIROL volleyball team are only one win away from the title.
The Innsbruck based team won the Game 4 of the Powerfusion AVL Men final series on the field of SK Zadruga Aich/Dob 3-0 (25:21: 25:15, 25:23) and secured their chance for the first championship title since 2017 in their USI hall on Saturday.

Aich/Dob was able to take the lead in the first set in the well-attended JUFA Arena in Bleiburg.
However with Luan Weber from the service line, the rivals scored five points in a row resulting in a score of 23:19. From that point on, the guests were able to take the victory without major problems, with the only exception of the third set in which Aich/Dob were able to recover from a 3-point deficit and even to take a 19-18 lead. But, in the decisive moments, HYPO TIROL proved to be the more efficient team on the court, closing the game after 82 minutes of play at the first match ball.
The top scorers were Zlatan Yordanov (11), Stefan Kaibald and Alpar Szabo (8 each) among the hosts, and a great Luan Weber (18), Niklas Kronthaler (11) and Pedro Frances (9) for the winners.
