Italy: Lube don’t give up! Trento defeated in four sets and final series to Game 5!

Old story, but still valid: again, Cucine Lube Civitanova rises from its ashes!
Not even the absence of Ivan Zaytsev, stopped by a shoulder injury suffered in Game 3 in Trento, is not enough to stop the Italian champions’ desire for redemption in Game 4 of the Scudetto Final against Itas Trentino.
The hosts hurt a lot from the service line in the first set, stubbornly make a comeback from 16-20 in the second and, when the team around head coach Angelo Lorenzetti reopens the match, responds with a once again dominated fourth set.

Without Zaytsev, head coach Blengini fielded 3 young outside hitters, Bottolo, Nikolov and a super Yant from the service line but not only (he will close the game, in fact, as top scorer with 24 points, a remarkable success rate of 65%, 2 winning blocks and as many as 7 ace!)
Decisive also Gabi Garcia, who replied with 14 points to his name with an impressive efficiency of 76%, but it was a great performance of the whole team, above all from the service line (12 aces to 7).
And Trento, on the other hand, wasn’t able to repeat the brilliant performance of Game 3, with lot of ups and downs, and could only count on Kaziyski, who ended the match with 16 points through 52% efficiency and 4 aces. Michieletto and Lavia also reached double digits, scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.

This exciting version of Superlega CredemBanca will be decided, as was logical, in Game 5, and the appointment at the BLM Group Arena in Trento, if there are no news and further changes of dates, will be on Wednesday 17 May at 20.30.
