Italy: Perugia first finalist! Trento and Monza to game 5

2023/24 Superlega Credem Banca Playoffs Semifinals: Sir Susa Vim Perugia is the first team to secure Final Spot in a thrilling game against Allianz Milan, while Mint Vero Volley Monza stun again defending champions Itas Trentino to force their series to decisive Game!
In details, Perugia secured their ticket to the SuperLega finals by defeating Allianz Milano in four sets at Allianz Cloud, 1-3 (25:18, 24:26, 20:25, 18:25).
After dropping the first set, the players around head coach Angelo Lorenzetti mounted a fierce comeback, led by the outstanding performances of Wassim Ben Tara and Oleh Plotnytskyi, each scoring 18 and 15 points respectively, led by setter Simone Giannelli, who was instrumental in setting up attacks.
However, the MVP of the match was libero Max Colaci, author of several spectacular (and decisive) defenses during the game.

Perugia will now face the winner of the Trento-Monza series, with the finals set to start on April 18.
In fact, in the other match of the day, MINT Vero Volley Monza overcame Itas Trentino 3-1 (22:25, 25:23, 25:23, 25:11) to extend their semifinal series to a decisive Game 5.
