Poland: another win for Olsztyn! Aluron defeated in straight sets and series to Game 5!

Regular season leaders Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and No.3 and Champions League finalist Jastrzębski Węgiel eliminated PSG Stal Nysa and Trefl Gdańsk respectively already in Game 3, No.4 and the other Champions League finalist Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle did the same against Projekt Warszawa in Game 4 after 3 thrilling tie breaks in 4 games played…while the name of the last semifilist of 2022/23 Plusliga is still unknown, as No.7 Indykpol AZS Olsztyn is close to stage the major upset so far in these playoffs staging a grat comeback against No.2 Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, who had a 2-0 lead in series before weekend.

After a great tie break win yesterday , today they celebrated another success, but this time even in straight sets (25:23, 25:16, 25:23), that is worth a series now at 2-2!
Decisive Game 5 will be played on Wednesday at 5pm local time on the field of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, who today fought, but could count again only on Uros Kovacevic, the only player in double digit with 14 points to his name through 44% in attack, only 22% efficiency, 1 block and 1 ace.
On the other hand, the winners played an excellent game above all from the service line, scoring as many as 14 aces in just three sets (3 for Aluron), but also in attack, led in score by a great Karol Butryn, top scorer with 21 points (2 aces, 1 block and 53% in attack), Moritz Karlitzek, who also contributed with 15 including 7 aces, and Robbert Andringa with 11.
