Challenger Cup: final is Turkey – Cuba!
1 min read
Both semifinals of 2022 FIVB Challenger Cup were played today in Seoul, South Korea.
Cuba is first finalist, and one step from the return of International Volleyball scenario. In first semifinal of the day, they literally blocked Czech Republic (16 winning blocks vs. 5 of the rivals), by beating them with a clear 3-0 (25:22 25:18 25:18), despite the heavy absences of Robertlandy Simon (covid-19) and Marlon Yant (on the bench, injured).
In final they will face a Turkey who, in second semifinal, defeat hosts South Korea with the same result (26:24 25:21 25:22).
